This picture I made for my neighbor who lost her husband the spring of 2013.  He took this picture and it is where she hiked in for the first time with her brother to lay his ashes to rest.  It is the hardest picture I have ever done to this date.

New Pictures to Stitch

 DOGWOOD CHAPEL

One down, one to go!

THE GOOD SHEPARD COTTAGE

I can't wait to get started on these new pictures
that I have been commissioned to stitch
for a friend of mine.
Hum, I wonder how long they will take me to stitch.
This will be a "big" project
for me!

Well, after a year both pictures are finally finished
and my friend, Joyce is very happy with them.
They are off  getting framed.  Can't wait to see them!

I will be taking a much needed break and then will be starting my next project.  It will be an  8x10 portrait for Christmas

Blankets

Aren't these baby blankets just the cutest.  This is what I have been up too lately.  I get the blankets and bibs from my sister, Kathleen and then crochet around them.  She is a lot better at crocheting then I am, but I needed a break from counted-cross stitch.  So if you need a baby gift I have these for sale!

Melissa's babies' blanket

Isn't this just as cute as can be?  I bought this afghan at Joann's then I added white flannel to the back and quilted it in the stitched square's. I then added the yellow flannel and bound it.  Perfect for any baby anytime!

2010 Wayne County Fair

As you can see this picture did not place, but did get a special recognition.  A counted cross stitch of some deer took first place.  I had higher hopes.  I guess you can't win them all!
