DOGWOOD CHAPEL
I can't wait to get started on these new pictures
that I have been commissioned to stitch
for a friend of mine.
Hum, I wonder how long they will take me to stitch.

Blankets
Aren't these baby blankets just the cutest. This is what I have been up too lately. I get the blankets and bibs from my sister, Kathleen and then crochet around them. She is a lot better at crocheting then I am, but I needed a break from counted-cross stitch. So if you need a baby gift I have these for sale!

Melissa's babies' blanket
Isn't this just as cute as can be? I bought this afghan at Joann's then I added white flannel to the back and quilted it in the stitched square's. I then added the yellow flannel and bound it. Perfect for any baby anytime!

I wished I could have had this picture framed for this years county fair. I didn't even like it until it was framed. The photo was taken by Mark Morrison.
Since things have changed with what I wanted to do with this , it is for sale, and yes it was sold for $250.00! I was so excited I couldn't stand it!!!!

2010 Wayne County Fair
As you can see this picture did not place, but did get a special recognition. A counted cross stitch of some deer took first place. I had higher hopes. I guess you can't win them all!

Mom and Dad
These are the pictures I made for my mom and dad. The black and white is when they were married in 1945 and took me 2 months to stitch. The colored one was taked in 2005 just before their 60th anniversary and took me 4 months to stitch. The size of the pictures before framing is16 x 20. I made these in 2007.
